tis the season!

I don't like this. Not one bit.

Isn't this the beginning of the holiday season? That seems to imply that I can enjoy whatever holiday I want.

Why must people find a reason to complain about such a good time of year?

If people want to listen to music or put up Christmas lights, because it brings them joy then we should keep quiet and let them. Why discourage people from being happy?

And for the record, I'm confident that Turkey's do not care whether or not you're appreciating Christmas music while you're eating them.

So to all the fun-suckers out there...you can find me:
Singing "Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!"

Marveling in the beauty of tiny little lights

Loving my Christmas tree...

Ice Skating!

Riding a modern day sleigh

Posing as a creepy snowman

And spending time with people I love!

'Tis the season to be jolly..fa la la la la la la la LA!

  1. I SOOOO agree with you!! I love combining the next season with all of the holidays! Besides, why limit all the beautiful Christmas things to just one month?

    Love you!

  2. I just thought that sign was trying to remember Thanksgiving, not discourage Christmas ;) We need some good thanksgiving songs.. But you've got me all excited for the holiday season! Josh Groban Christmas, yes!

  3. hey there. in reference to the whole not-celebrating-Christmas-until -after-thanksgiving thing, the problem i have with it is how stores use this time to exploit Christmas. it's gotten worse and worse. they know people will spend a lot more if they start spending in september & october rather than late november or december, so they target the (sometimes oblivious) consumer who, in today's economy, often can't AFFORD the stuff they are buying and putting on credit cards. so that's my issue with it....it has become less & less about Christ and more & more about money. if you just love Christmas music and the festivities of the holiday then by all means get your groove on, just please don't advertise your stuff everywhere i turn. xoxoxo
