a cure for the mondays

Dinner at The Blue Lemon

My husband really is the sweetest.

I usually like Mondays. Mostly because everyone always complains, "it's monday already?" and it's apparently trendy this particular day of the week.

But not to me. I like them. Partly because everyone else hates them. And partly because they're really not all that bad. I usually go to Target on Mondays so I guess I'm just setting myself up for success.

Except this last Monday. It was just no good. No good at all.

I even went to Target, but it did little to cheer me up.

So I did what any self-respecting 29 year old woman would do.

I complained to Andrew about it and then lied in bed for an hour in hopes of sleeping away the day.

Until he came in to rescue me from my pity-party-lameness to announce that we were going to go to dinner and perhaps stroll through some of my favorite stores.

Because shopping does wonders for my soul.

You know you married your true love when he patiently waits for you to explore aisle after aisle of beautiful things.

She was mesmerized by the lights, people, and all the pretty things. Just like her mama.

Replace Macy's with Nordstrom and you would have Perfection.

Elle has 2 ear infections so she deserved some new kicks.

h&m. romantic dinner. best little family in all the land.

I was cured by love. Andrew and Ellie love.

So here's to all the fellas who are so good to the women that love are appreciated!

And to all the little babes who bring us so much joy just for being so little and sweet.

Mondays still rock my world.

Big hugs to you and your precious family.
