Life lessons

I've been trying to teach Elle a few life lessons.

Not just the essentials like always be nice to your mailman and it's a crime to buy any peanut butter that isn't Jif.

But also a few little gems I've picked up along the way.
It's important to smile for the camera, but it's more important to keep your eyes open.
Don't be afraid to learn some new tricks every once in a while.
Chocolate Chip cookies always taste better with Grandpa.
Sometimes life can feel like a complicated puzzle, so just take it one piece at a time.
Hang out with your dad as much as possible.
Don't ever give up. No matter what.
People may try to karate chop you for their enjoyment. Don't let them.
Finally, if you find yourself in an awkward position call me and I will help you.

What are you teaching your kids?
